Yesterday I ordered new tires and wheels because mine are absolutely useless in cold or damp conditions. Tire Rack did a great job in getting them shipped out to be delivered today. UPS though... three are out for delivery. The fourth is scheduled for Monday. I seriously hope they just missed a scan.

Edit: here are three! Instead of installing them tomorrow I get to install them maybe Friday since it’s dark and cold when I get home from work.

UPS doesn’t necessarily know that all four are the same thing, like you’re getting four tires. It’s possible that three of them got on one truck, and the last one was left behind> I’ve seen this issue listed on FAQ pages of various tire sites

What tires did you order?

They usually ship tires sans packaging, just slap a label right on the tread. I don’t know if they do the same for complete wheel/tire packages.

Tire Rack used to band two wheel/tire assemblies together, unless they were too heavy.... I’ve seen truck wheel/tire asm ship individually.

I got 3, then received my last a week later. So annoying

I ordered some military paint for my truck and I watched the tracking show the package was at the place close to me where it usually goes out for delivery, then they took it far away by the airport, then back to the previous place... I actually worked for UPS in college so I know what it’s like but it looks silly.

They will come as cardboard circles banded onto individual wheels.

UPS has been nuts lately due to the weather. About half of my Amazon deliveries have mysteriously gotten delayed on the day they were scheduled to be here.

Anyway, just install both fronts and one rear. It’ll be a 75% improvement!

I had a similar problem when I ordered wheels: the four boxes were identical, but only one out of the group was marked “signature required” on the shipment. Three were left at my door, and I had to pick up the fourth at their hub. I was like, “If you’re going to require a signature, do it on the whole order.”
